To my readers, welcome!

I’m Laura - the owner and creator of ‘By Laura Kataleaya’.

This place is for you to get a better idea of who I am, where I started and what I can provide, so please feel free to read on and have a browse.

I first started baking ever since I was young. I was always the one helping my mum with cakes and our traditional desserts - coming from the Middle East, naturally you become such a foodie. Also, my favourite dessert to make was always baklava (if you know you know).

When the pandemic hit back in 2020, I picked up my passion for baking again. It quickly became an outlet for me during a tough time. But, being able to use my creative mind and put my vision into my baking was incredible.

The baking started to become consistent and after constantly feeding my family and friends, one day I said to myself “I’m going to create a business from baking cakes, brownies, cookies, all of it.”

Now here I am years later and honestly, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Being able to work on something that I truly love and have a passion for is really special.

Baking and creating bespoke designs is more than an interest to me, it’s my baby. I spend hours of time and love into every product I sell. I guarantee you that I can always provide you with the best service as well as delicious bakes.
